Wondering which will be a better way to invest 20K, don't need it cash out for 10-15yrs.
Should put intko mutual fund or buy a small condo to rent near university ?
As buying rental home, I figure out 20k as downpayment,mortage rate now is only 4-5%, rent itself should be able to pay most of the monthly payment? but this way need a lot of work, maintenance,look for new renter, summber loss plus the condo almost don't appreciate in years.
I don't have any experience in stock/mutual fund, but fear it's going to crash as it did in 2001.
