请问: Furnace issue fix

Last week I found there was gas leak from my furnace. Based on the technician check from Enbridge, he told me that I need to change "Gas Value By-pass". Does somebody know this part, and which company is good to change this part?
(That technician told me it would take several hundred dollars)

you sure is Gas Value, not "Gas Valve"?

I was going to say the same: it's probably bypass valve, and it shouldn't be that expensive.
