PROJECT/POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Role Description
Responsibilities will include technical analysis, design and development activities related to renewals processing of all commercial lines of business. This will also include the conversion to and integration with the new commercial lines rating and policy administration system. As a technical lead this resource will participate in the analysis, design,
development and system testing of the web components of the renewals and commercial lines system replacement integration activities. As a lead they will also be required to review other team members work for completeness, adherence to standards.

Skills and Responsibilities
・ Enterprise level development is a must.
・ Previous experience in a technical lead role within an
application development project
・ Strong Knowledge and proficient with frameworks, i.e. J2EE,
STRUTS.
・ Previous experience developing n-Tier Enterprise Level
applications
・ Strong Knowledge and proficient in OOAD Techniques - Ability
to design complex components
・ Proven design experience
・ Strong Knowledge and experience with the Java Std API v1.3.1
and higher
・ Strong Knowledge and proficient with Design Patterns
・ Database experience - DB2-UDB preferred
・ Strong Knowledge and previous experience writing and esigning stored procedures
・ Strong Knowledge and previous Experience writing and designing triggers
・ Proficient in Data Modeling - Physical & Logical
・ Strong Knowledge and previous Experience writing and designing SQL
・ Strong Knowledge and previous Experience in Use Case Writing and UML
・ Previous experience Prototyping Screens
・ Strong Knowledge and previous Experience writing and designing test cases i.e. J-Units
・ Strong Knowledge and previous Experience with IBM development technologies including WSAD, Rational Suite, and Websphere.
・ Proficient with Source Control techniques
Skills required for the Project are as follows -

Java, J2EE, OOAD, SQL, UML, Use Case
Rational Tools including Rose, ReqPro ,ClearCase and ClearQuest
