I have never had any problem with anybody at that store at all. No clue why it happened to someone.

Maybe he was rude, just because you speak english.
try use French, if you can not speak French, just use 中文。

Absolutely!

French are very narrow-minded in that way. Can't they understand what is the value of speaking French compare with English?

Ok, their ancestors came to Canada before the English.So what? you defeated, you have to accept the fate.

We immigrants just speak whichever language that has the most economic and social values. Why mad at us? If they are so cool, why don't they just speak French only?

so, Chinese people, if you don't speak French, don't go to Quebec or France because you are not going to get nice treatment.

The French are just really jealous and envious of the English, that's all.

The first time that I went to there several years ago, there were not any other buyers, and the owner let us enter inside workship to select whatever we liked but not to touch the meat. He was very nice at that time.

The last time I went to there was a Saturday two years ago, it was very crowded and needed a number. When I asked some cheap items first, the owner told me they didn't have them. I orderws some expensive meats and then found that other salers took the cheap meats that I asked. I reordered them and the owner gave me what i want.

The salers might realized that some Chinese only bought cheapest items and some could buy both cheap and expensive items. The owner might want to keep enough cheap items for balance. I haven't gone there since my parants left Ottawa in 2003.

去这家买了一箱，40多刀，回来一数才10个猪肚，合4刀多一个。超市也是4刀左右一个，真不如直接在超市买了，还多跑50公里。
