Last year, I am lucky and have income. My wife have none. And I paid a big amount for my kid's day care. What should I do in order to get more tax back?

Unfortunately nothing. Daycare credit can only be used by the party with lower income.

Maybe you can start by saving daycare fee to have your wife looking after the kid at home. Or she can start a home care even to make some money.

Or she can consider going back to school.

Your wife can claim the day care credit if she was a full time(maybe part time also, need to double check) student in school even if she was in school for only one term(4 months).
