You can not just "exchange" it to a canadian driver's license, still need "paper test" and "road test".
1. After paper test, you get a G1 license, which can only dirve legally with a person who has a G license for more than 2 years (there is a red line and four dots under the photo in the license).
2. if your chinese license is more than 2 years old, you have one chance to try the G test directly. If you pass, everything will be fine. If you don't, you have to pass a G2 test to get a G1 license. And after a year, get the G road test again.
