美国绿卡到加拿大来玩需要什么证件吗？

我现在住美国，不是美国公民，不过是永久居民，我想过两个月到加拿大来看一个朋友，需要什么东西吗？谢谢大家帮忙啦！

我老爸看过了，他说只要带着绿卡买好机票就可以过来了，不用签证的，从美国去加拿大的游客还可以自己开车过去

With green card, of course you can leave US but may not be able to enter Canada without a Canadian Visa. It is clear on CIC web site, "anyone who does not have citizenship in a country that is on the Canadian VISA-waiver list needs a VISA to enter Canada."

That being said, with your green card, you may be able to get one in a Canadian airport.

美国绿卡不需要签证，移民局的网站上写得清清楚楚。虽然对加拿大永久居民来说不公平，但也没办法，谁让加拿大政府愿意不采取对等措施呢。

这个逻辑倒是有助于自我安慰。按这样的逻辑，入加拿大籍5年以内的去美国也该要签证。看现在的风声，美国人很有可能这么做。我知道的人中，已经有入了加拿大籍进美国被拒的了。

美国人从来很霸道的，对加拿大这个“小”邻居也不例外。如果连愤怒甚至不满都不能表达的话，是不是太奴性了些？
