How is riverside ?

Hi Friends,

Could some body give some ideas about the riverside?

Houses? Environment? Schools?

It looks it is very close to Beheven. Will the sub-way go there as well?

I believe you are talking about riverside south. The o-tran will pass there first then go to Barheaven.The area is still under development nothing is for sure yet. But by look at the map. You will find this area is blocked at west by river, north and east by airport runway (noise) and only one way link to hunt club. It is quite isolated.My guess it will a small community in the future.If builder only build large single there, it will be a good rich place. If builder begin to build low rental apartment to take advatage of easy O-tran access to downtown,the place will go down hill very quickly.

City of Ottawa has a 15 years development plan about Riverside South, which will build a lot of houses there. The light train will go there in 2008, and in 2009 the City will build a bridge to connect Riverside and Barrhaven.
