看到不少邻居都Seal Driveway,想请问这个应该多久做一次? 价格大概多少?

One trick, when you buy the roller with stick, buy wood stick, not the plastic one. I broke two plastic sticks

Can I use brush? Any driveway seleant brand recommendation? Thanks.

Acrylic based sealant drys faster, and lasts longer. My driveway was sealed 3 yrs. ago, I guess it may last 1 or 2 more years.

It could be applied with a broom, pretty easy job.

Thanks 基础墙. Bases on your link should I go for asphalt instead of Coal tar? Just want to protect from oil and crack. Please give me advise. How long the job will take normally?

Coal tar based products are less expensive. Normally the coalting lasts for 2 years. You might need 4 tanks for a double driveway for the first time sealing. Acrylic based products could last up to 5 years, 2 tanks for 1st time sealing, dry in 24 hours.

Coal tart is oilier and stickier, gives you a "thick" look at first, but it's not easily absorbed by the underlayer so it would be worn out faster.

I picked Acrylic because it lasts longer (I'm lazy). But anyway, the all do their job when properly applied.

The project won't take you too long. You could start shopping today, clean the driveway and apply the first coating tomorrow morning, the second coating on Sunday -- totally 4-5 hours work, finished in 2 days.

Thank you. Last question, should I do the driveway sealing even it is newly paved and is raining day ok for the job(I mean rain fater I put the seleant and before it cures totally)?
