煤气炉和空调保养问题

请问各位,谁家有煤气暖炉,在保修期内,是不是需要每年做一般的检查和保养?
我去年装的炉子,但这家安装公司说,如果不每年花将近100元检查和保养,就不给5年的免费保修.
另外,不知道空调10年和5年的免费保修也是这个路子?
另外,冬天各位的空调在外面的机器怎么样保护?是不是需要用什么东西覆盖?
什么地方有卖专用的?

Your furnace is under warranty. You have to do the check. They always tell you, you will need an annually check. It is a safety concern. Most check should include check the ignition, clean the burner. Check leak, check the fan belt, and change the filter…

Depend on size of you air condition unit. You can do anything to prevent snow get in to the unit, which may put some weight on the fan and other component. Rain is not a problem. Simply thing is piece plywood over the top and few bricks to hold it there. Garbage bag and duct tap will work; of course manufacture may have their cover. HD may have a standard one. You may find cheap gas grill cover may work too. But don’t seal the whole unit; leave the bottom open, so the water can run out.

My furnance brand is BRYANT(DC Motor355MAV, 2 stage with up to96.6% AFUE) and contractor with Holmes Heating.
The phon number is (613) 529 8170
I paid $5000 for the furnance and duct work(befoer Install) plus a Thermostat.(I got $215 rebate)
I think this is good one. Saving and quiet.
如果你想换furnance, 我建议明年6-8月换,每年厂家会有rebate for sale.
另外这个牌子在Ottawa只有三家代理商,(去年我问的它的美国总部).我签合同的这家公司是我住的小区一家邻居推荐的.有网站,你可上网查查,也可打电话咨询.
