Agree! It was much safer before. I remember that nine years ago I usually walked home form lab around 11:00 pm in winter for 30-40 minutes and felt quite safe.

Vancouver is much much worse than Ottawa. Canada's biggest drug corner is located near to Vancouver chinese town.

There are 3 main problems in Vancouver:
-Drug
-Gun
-Asian Speeding

well in that case i don't think i'll move there

finding a safe place to live proved costly and labour intensive, but well worth it

But you still feel cold, right?

I'll never walk more than 5 minutes outside in winter though I can skate for an hour.

From the begining, I don't believe it is a random homicide. Someone at least must know her routine cause nobody will drive around such an area at late night, "randomly".
