Job title: Security Support Specialist (Hong Kong)
Location: Hong Kong (The preference will be given to Hong Kong residents.)
Annual Salary: CAD $45,000 ? CAD $68,000 (Depends on the experience)
Key Responsibility:
Aid our clients to install, configure, troubleshoot, and ensure the security of clients’ operating systems, databases, networks, servers and software applications in Hong Kong.
Job Description:
1) Deploy, configure, manage and maintain clients’ security systems and their corresponding or associated software
2) Deliver reports relating to security software and hardware installation, configuration and ongoing support
3) Assist clients to identify and create policies to protect their network from threats consistent with their corporate goals and plans
4) Monitor new and emerging threats such as worms and viruses, generate security alerts and recommendations to clients
5) Identify and assess vulnerabilities, develop methods and security configurations to protect and prevent any negative impact to clients’ networks
6) Analyze and resolve clients’ security breaches and vulnerability issues in a timely and accurate fashion
7) Recommend, schedule and perform security improvements, upgrades and migrations for clients
8) Provide 24/7 on-call security support when required
Qualifications:
1) A minimum of 4 years proven consulting experience in Information Security
2) Extensive knowledge, skills and ability in a variety of network security technologies
・ Intrusion detection ? analysis and signature development
・ Incident handling
・ Firewall management ? able to configure and manage
・ Anti-virus/anti-spam/content filtering management ? Know how to deal with virus incidents and software configuration
・ Microsoft, UNIX, and Linux operating systems
・ Antivirus software
・ Firewalls, VPNs, routers, switches and other network infrastructure devices
・ Up-to-date knowledge of IT vulnerabilities and threats
・ Vendor specific certifications (McAfee, Trend Micro, Symantec, CA, Nortel, Juniper and etc.)
3) Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA are strongly preferred
4) Ability to diffuse tense customer situations and project a positive, confident outlook
5) Effective time management and prioritization skills within a multi-tasking environment
6) Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
7) Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
8) Ability to travel and to work in a fast-paced environment
