Mama Teresa - Italian food, very good desert. Price is ok. About $40 for one person, including a full course and a glass of wine.

Kelsey is very common western cuisine. Not expensive. Taste not very good.

A few very good restaurants in Byward market - But I fogot the names.

Westin Hotel has really good western food - the company I work for had the Christmas party there last year. The food is really really good. But I do not know how much it costs.

Merlot - on the 28th floor of downtown Marriot Hotel (Kent @ Queen). Its Sunday brunch is a good choice for visitors (29 + tax + tips = $40ish per person).

Merlot is the only revolving restaurant in town. 360 degree to see Ottawa. Visitors will love it...Food is not bad...We once drove to Montebello for the famous brunch in Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello, no better than Merlot's..

No dress code, but probably you'd better make a reservation.
