because so far, only D2X support ISO100. The lower the ISO, the lower the noise level.
Well, ISO100 is good, but not good enough. I expect ISO50.

Well, D-SLR is a little differnt story. As far as I know, neither Nikon nor Canon D-SLR can do ISO50 so far.
