I wanted to buy a used Min-Van. After researed this weekend, I found 96,97,98 Honda are good for reliability and very efficient (2.2L or 2.3). In the pre-owned market, there are few cars on the market in Ottawa. So I asked a friend in Toronto to look several cars. I bought CarFax, so I can research the cars' history. Today, I found two problems:
I found one in toronto, the odometer was modified. I found the latest odometer reading in Quebec is 320,000km, but the private mini van's current reading is 180,000. How big different!
I also found that we must be careful for cross province transfer cars and no history cars.
So friends, be careful for any kind of JP cars when you look small dealers. I suggest look for used cars in manufactury's dealers even the price is higher since their cars came from trader-in, but small dealers bought used cars from auctions and dealers.
