是否有人有过类似的经历,请指教

上个月在laurie街(图书馆)门口停了一下车等人,警察过来说让开走(当时没给罚单),本人就开走了.今天却收到了法庭催交罚款的信,请问上法庭该怎样应答? 请指教.
那个警察当时说是rush hour不准停车,可他自己停在那和熟人聊了好久,气愤!

Choose to go to court. Tell the judge that you feel it's unfair to get a ticket because you left upon request from the cop. The court will schedule a hearing and it's most likely a year from now. Usually, the judge will either throw out the case, in which case, you won't have to pay, or he will reduce the amount. You have nothing to lose by going to court.

不能不理! 所有的发单记录有你的驾照,也就是说"是执有此驾照的人是违规者,并不是你的车违规".和你换车和车牌关系不大!

如果你不想交发单,那就去找律师帮你打掉.虽然价钱贵,但是你想想:要是交了发单,你的驾照就会被扣分,影响很大,而且持续5年时间. 所以,建议你去找律师. 记住,在交发单钱去找,要是已经交了就没用了....

either pay or go to the court and follow the court decision. Do not try your luck to ignore or escape. Once there is a court decision, even without your presence, the record will follow you and it takes a long time to clear it, unless you are not going to stay here.

有时间的话最好上庭, 即使不能全免也要争取降低一点罚金. GOOD LUCK!
