Ottawa police are investigating a double homicide after a shooting at karaoke and bubble tea bar in Ottawa's Chinatown.
Two men in their early 20s were shot several times at about 2:45 a.m. Tuesday at the Full House Lounge Bar at 718 Somerset Street West, near Arthur.
One man died at the scene. The other died later in hospital.
Police are interviewing dozens of witnesses who were at the bar at the time of the shooting.
The Full House is a popular destination for young people, according to Peter So, who owns a restaurant across the street.
"At night, there's a lot of people coming to that restaurant because of the karaoke," said So. "Young Chinese students and people who want to have a little bit of fun with friends in Chinatown."
The incident comes just two weeks after shootings in the Byward Market and in the south end of the city.
Police don't believe they are related.
The victims' names won't be released until police contact next of kin, who are out of the country.
