Local anti-violence organizations plan to gather in front of the Elgin Street Courthouse at dawn Monday.
They're holding a rally that they hope will serve as a wake-up call to the public, government and criminal justice system about violence against women.
The rally is being held in memory of K'Leigh Cundall, who died thursday after being stabbed more than 20 times in her Ottawa apartment. Her ex-boyfriend was arrested at the scene.
