Finally, the similar program of Winterlicious (or Summerlicious) is in Ottawa and Gatineau.

For $20 or $30 per person you can enjoy a three course dinner from the following retaurants. My mouth is already watering. Made two reservations today. If you have Amex card, call today before everyone else starts calling them tomorrow.

But how does this work? You go to the winterlude and have dinner there during Jan. 20 - Feb. 2?? Or you go to the restaurants instead?

Never heard of it, so not sure how it works......:blowzy:

During the duration of the Winterlude, these participating restaurants will set aside a special menu for the "Taste of Winterlude", let you have a 3 course meal for $20 or $30 per person. You don't have to physically attend Winterlude. Just call the restaurants to make reservations.

I picked the Arome, which is located in the Hilton, and the Courtyard in the Market. "Endless mussell" is also on the list. Not too impressed with the Empire Grill. Maybe Big daddy. Any other suggestions?

No, you don't.

But, with Amex card you can make reservation today for those hot spots before the reservations get full. That's what the Amex called "Front of the Line". Reservation is open to everyone starting from tomorrow, on a first come first served basis.

Let me know which place gets the most votes, then we can J there. Perfect timing for Chinese new year.
