A west end telecom company has a need for 2 Engineers with 5 years of real-time embedded Software Development experience using C++ and VxWorks. Experience with Linux is an asset.
The duties will include the following:
- Extend the System Platform Software Development Kit (MSPSDK) to allow it to run on multiprocessors and 64bit processors;
- Develop Test Harnesses for MSP SDK; Extend MSPSDK to aid in remoting their APIs;
- Implement software to allow remote function calls from the Linux Call Server to the Media Gateway box using an existing API;
- Porting C/C++ code from PPC to X86; Porting code from VxWorks to Linux (MSL 7.0);
- and Partition software to isolate code specific to their proprietary hardware from portable code.
