[问题] SUV for winter driving

prefer used BMW X5 4.4i, anyone has experience on that? how about 3.0i? less horse, good enough for commuting purpose?
and how about maintenance after 100k km?

or, any other choices at the same price(around $40k)?

used X5 with over 100k? it probably costs more to fix later on than paying for the car.
Early X5 has quite a few of issues and is not worth buying. Personally, I wouldn't get an used German car with very high milage because it can cause you a lot of trouble since the parts for BM and MB are quite expensive.

hehe, to get an infiniti or a nissan is better than to get a toyota or a honda. nissan including infiniti is 35% share owned by Renult of France. This generation of whole infiniti line up and maxima, altima etc. are under Renult's design. Can reconize them by their body style.
But porcshe, any way, its sales beat so many brands last year, and was ranked the 2nd in Europ market. So it is nice car no doubt.
