stay away from him.

worst teacher I have ever seen. Keeps wasting your time with garbages. He stuffed the whole classes with something very basic since that is what he knows only.

His knowledge is all about Turbo C, which appeared almost 20 years ago. He refused to answer any advanced topics since it was 'programming tool's " questions, nothing to do with C++.

He is very strict with students, very mean to give you good marks.

Anyway, he is very patient to answer some very simple questions.

Good only for people who know nothing about programming. Good to start, but never expect to get more from him.

He is a very good teacher, if you know what to ask him.
He is not there to tell you what to do, he is there to answer question that you have.

When I got into the program, he was my Java Lab instructor, out of 96 people in my lecture, at least 60 people signed the letter to vote against him. To most, if not all of us, he was a terrible Lab instructor (I never had him for lecture, so maybe he's nice then, I don't know).

He is always late to labs, NEVER on-time, and he leaves 15 mins early, WITHOUT telling the class (Every LAB). Marks very harsh, doesn't know what he's doing. It's either his way or the highway.

The following semester, I heard he got fired or retired. Everyone I know from the class was cheering.

In comparison, Robert Allison was also a harsh prof., but he's actually knowledgeable.

There are many harsh but good profs in the CST department, Owen Walker is not one of them.
