Nortel Networks announced Tuesday a US$65 million contract with U.S. cable and data company Cox Communications, Inc.
The three-year deal adds to an existing relationship between the two companies and includes network equipment as well as telephony switching products.
"We have had tremendous success with our telephone and optical transport services and we will further expand our network to accommodate growth," Albert Young, VP of telephony and transport engineering at Cox, said in a statement.
