Description
Seeking self-motivated, team-oriented and resourceful individual interested in design/verification of complex networking ASICs. Individual will be working with an experienced and motivated team to address exciting opportunities on a leading edge Cisco platform.
Responsibility highlights:
* Design and specify micro-architecture.
* Develop and implement block level rtl, synthesis, and timing.
* Block level verification: reference model and regressable test suites.
* Experience with Verilog HDL language and tools.
* Experience in ASIC methodologies and tools (synthesis, timing, formal)
* Experience in C/C++, scripting languages (PERL, shell) and PLI.
* Working knowledge of Vera or equivalent.
* Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
* Physical design experience an asset.
Typically requires MSEE/CS combined with 3-5 years of related experience, or BSEE/CS combined with 5-10+ yrs related experience.
Ability to widely apply networking principles, theories and field concepts to product development and possession of working knowledge of related disciplines.
Ability to apply new technology independently.
Ability to design multiple subsystem architecture.
Ability to solve complex problems involving multiple sub systems.
Experience with simulation for design verification of ASICs.
Ability to work in or lead dynamic teams.
Understanding of design specification and implementation of high-speed ASICs for next generation high-end switches and routers.
Experience with physical design of complex ASICs.
Works under department strategy and direction.
Translates department goals into own work assignments.
Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.
Excellent communication skills. Sponsors and models exemplary team interaction.
Typically requires MSEE/CS combined with 4-7 years of related experience, or BSEE/CS combined with 5-10+ yrs related experience. 744425
