Canada and China Joined by Charity for Ottawa Seniors
Ottawa born Chinese superstar Dashan will be coming to Ottawa
this March 23 to perform for the benefit of the Chinese senior
citizens at the Glebe Center. Dashan will be the guest
of honour at the Gala, which is hosted by Ottawa Mayor
Bob Chiarelli and Chinese Ambassador Lu Shumin, and
organized by members of the Ottawa Chinese community.
Mayor Chiarelli will be presenting Dashan with the Key
to the City for his contributions in building bridges
between Ottawa and China. Dashan, AKA Mark Rowswell,
will also be the MC and star performer of a variety
show to immediately follow at Centrepointe Theatre in
Nepean.
Prices for tickets are $125 for VIP tickets (includes
access to special reception before the show given in
his honour by Mayor Bob Chiarelli and Ambassador Lu
from 6:00pm to 7:30pm), $55 orchestra seats and $50
balcony seats.
