WORKING PERMIT的问题

请问拿到WORKING PERMIT之后如果QUIT JOB换工作可以么?
或者从FULL TIME变成PART-TIME行么?
WORKING PERMIT上是不是写着一定要在这一家公司工作的呀?

有滴 上面清清楚楚写着一定要在这家公司上班 不能去别的公司的
除非你的是OPen work permit 那就是说到处可以工作

You can change job. It is for sure!

I asked immigration officer at St. Catherine St.of this question, and all of them told me it was legal to change job within the two year time limitation. But you need to re-apply and pay the application fee again.

Keep trying! Don't give up!

if you change the job, do you need HRSDC approval?
i assume your two-year permit is post-graduation type,
and afterward you will apply for a regular work permit that needs to be sent to Alberta for processing

Post graduate work permit is part of the study permit package for most international students. The process of applying and renewing this type of work permit is independent to HRSDC. As far as I know, for renewing work permit, you can only mail the application to Alberta immigration office and the process time usually is one month.

From my experience, I think most soon-graduates should focus on looking for job, all kinds of jobs, sales, call center, technician, administration.... As long as you get work permit, within two year, you can change job, renew work permit, apply for immigration, wait for immigration...whatever you want to do.

Don't give up, try every possible way to get a job offer!
