anyone know about aeroplan Card

Hi,

I am using CIBC dividend 1% cash back visa card. My spending on this visa card per year is about $25000~$30000.

I am considering to change to a better reward card like America express Costco Platinum cash rebate card (up to 2% cash rebate) or a aeroplan card like America express aeroplanPlus gold card or CIBC Aerogold VISA Card.

But I am not familar with aeroplan card. I know how airmile card works and decide not to go with it. Current me and my husband don't travel within Canada and U.S. a lot but may travel once per year later. But we do travel to China once every two years.

Can anyone tell me which one is better for me? America express Costco Platinum cash rebate card or a aeroplan card?

if you think you are going to travel by aircanada then you should consider amex aeroplan for faster point collection. the problem is that not many places take amex, so aerogold is also good depending where you shop most of the time.

i would personally not getting any cash rebate card becuase i travel a lot. i just went to boston, japan and hong kong for free with aeroplan.
