Dear Friend,
As Chair of our inaugural Interval House Golf Tournament committee, I am seeking your assistance in raising funds to support the operations of Interval House.
Interval House is an emergency shelter for women and their children and has been operating in Ottawa for 30 years. We provide short term housing for those who are fleeing from domestic abuse, and offer crisis intervention and protection services.
As with previous years, Interval House has been filled to its capacity, and assisted with over 3000 calls to our crisis line. In the past year, more than 180 children have also walked through our doors, benefiting from our children’s programs and services.
In order to help keep these programs available for the women and children in our community, we need your help. We are hosting a golf tournament at the Stonebridge Golf and Country Club in Barrhaven. Tuesday, June 27th is an important day on our calendar ? we hope that you will also make this an important day on your calendar.
How can you help?
• Enter a foursome (or register on your own and we can place you with a group). The cost of $125 per golfer includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, light lunch, and a steak dinner.
• Sponsor a hole on the tee box for $250.
• Sponsor a hole on the green for $125.
• Donate a prize for the tournament.
