想买一个BASIC的LAPTOP,I.E.TRAVEL加学习用,看中几个就是不知该选那个.

1. Compaq Mobile AMD Turion 64 ML-30 1.6GHz Laptop; 512MB DDR; 80GB (4200RPM);128MB DDR Shared ATI Radeon Express 200M; FOR $849

2. Compaq Presario AMD Turion 64 ML-32 1.8GHz Laptop; 1024MB 333MHz DDR; 60GB 4200RPM; 128MB Shared ATI Radeon Xpress 200M; FOR $1049

3. Acer TravelMate Intel Centrino Duo T2300 1.66GHz; 512MB DDR2; 80GB; 224MB (Shared) Intel GMA 950; FOR $1099

4. Acer AMD Turion 64 ML-32 1.8GHz Laptop; 512MB DDR2 RAM; 100GB 4200RPM; 128MB Shared Mirage 2; FOR $919

WHICH ONE TO CHOOSE??? I LIKE THEM ALL

dude ... Acer TM4404 is good, about 1300+tax, or 4402 for 1100+tax

but if you really want one of above ... take the 4th

but if you are running graphical sim, or pro/e, or ACAD sim/big drawing, the 128mb shared graphic might be a cap ... TM4400 series has a x700x video card, non shared memory

and I bet the 4th is a Aspire series model, the performance is no match to travelmate series, but the price is pretty low

and don't get compaq, just cheap but nothing else

I am toggling between 4402 and 4404 right now, will have it shipped by the end of May, you get to see it when you come back from Germany, maybe you would like to have one too

no ... I will have to work my ass off to buy TM4404 ... literally ASS OFF ...

but I might visit for civic holidays though, you better know where to go for the touring sites
