我觉得这个工作不是那种labor工作.但是对于大多数学生来讲.只能打labor的工作.所以,虽然说是国际学生可以在校外打工.但是工作好不好找就是领一个问题.

如果餐馆这种labor工作,人家才不会给你开个什么信.然后去弄个work permit...所以校外工作是一个好事儿.但是还是仅仅服务于很小部分的人员

如果哪天国际学生可以很容易的办SIN卡,就像01年以前的那批学生.那么,真正的校外打工才对国际学生有利

校外工作条件适用于在以下学校就读的留学生：
－和省政府签有校外工作协议的公立大学、学院、教育机构
－在公立学校条款和规定下运作，至少50％的资金来自政府补助，且和省政府签有校外工作协议的私立大学、学院、教育机构（目前符合条件的只有魁北克的私立CEGEP）。

在校外工作的留学生必须在开始工作前申请工作签证，留学生的工作签证将允许留学生在上学期间每周工作20个小时，在常规假期（寒假、暑假、春假）每周全职工作。
申请工签的条件：
－持有有效学习许可
－就读于和移民局签订留学生校外工作备忘录的省份
－就读于和上述省份签订协议的大学、学院和将有几个的全日制学生
－在申请前的12个月中至少有6个月是上述学校的全日制学生
－良好的学习记录
－授权学校，省政府和移民局分享你的个人信息
－填写工签申请表格
－交纳150元申请费


有以下情况的学生不得申请校外工作签证：
正参加加拿大外交部资助的加拿大英联邦奖学金项目
正参加加加拿大外交部资助的加拿大政府奖励项目
正接受加拿大国际发展局的资助
正上ESL课程
