这个要补吗？

各位大侠，我车库的顶上原来装了卫星天线，现在拆了。上面的几个孔要不要
补啊？怎么补呢？

You MUST patch it! I had exactly the same situation 2 weeks ago when I moved to a new house, the previous owner had removed his dish and left 5 holes on the shingles. Then Bell guy came to install Expressvu for me and drilled new holes without reusing the existing ones! it was raining that weekend and we found out right away on the inside wall of the garage, water came down along the wall..

To fix it, go to Home Depot or C-Tire and get a silicon for roofing. You'll need the silicon gun as well. Do it quickly as rain is forecasted in a day or two.

I got tube silicon at Walmart. Not sure if it's for roofing or not though.

The silicon tubes come in different uses for different purposes. There's bathroom/window caulking for general indoor, room temperature usage. There's also exterior caulking for extreme weather. And of course the roof silicon that resists heat, cold and water. Make sure you get the right tube for a particular fix.

That thing is called asphalt cement or roof cement. Go to Homedepot ask them to lead you there. It may be a good idea to get a small piece of tar paper or similar water proof felt. You can apply them with roof cement to the back of damaged shingle.

今天就去HD和CT。他们可以帮我做吗？或者有朋友或公司愿意做吗？
我没有这么高的梯子，虽然车库顶儿不高，但我的小梯子够不到。hehe

可以去home depot租个梯子，挺便宜的。

20 feet extension 70 多加刀，16 feet 更便宜。
也可以买折叠的。

have you tried accessing the roof from 2nd floor window? most of the 2-storey houses have window opening just above the garage roof, it's very easily accessible, you don't even need a ladder. Unless of course yours is a bungalow..

This kind of job usually have to DIY. You wouldn't pay too much. Most handyman doesn't interest in this kind of small job. Ask a neighbour for help may be a good idea.
