I have the same problem. what I did is I dig up the ant nest. I think this is only good way get rid of the ants. I tried some other way to get rid of them, but it doesn't work.

There are some pesticides you can buy at Home Depot or Wal-Mart to kill ants. At least you can try to reduce their number. If you can find the nest dig it out is the best. But sometime it is just in other people's yard a feet away....

My front yard is sort of dying, I read that it could be because the ants dig up too much underground paths which dried up the grass roots. Now just whenever I look at the ant "mount" I am very disturbed Tried several ways, but the ant nest just keep growing

Did you have tried ant bait.The worker ants will bring it back to nest and feed it to the queen. It will kill the queen. It takes sometime to work since the worker ants still live. You have to wait them to die of old ages.

Haha I wish them all die in a minute
I tried that too, but you will need to continuously put it on/around the nest for 1 week, and once it rained it wouldn't work.

I heard to put spicy sauce/cinnamon/vinegar to 辣死臭死它们, anybody heard of that?
