Island Range Hood of the Kitchen

I know there are lots of experts on house in this forum. Here is my question:
Any one has experiecne or know anything about island range hood, like where to buy or who can install, how much is the cost?

I just purchased a customer build house, I like everything of the house but the kitchen, the kitchen has an island stove in the middle of the kitchen, it has an hood under the stove to suck the smoking from the element of the stove, but this will never work for our Chinese cooking style, so I would like to install a hood on the top of the stove.
Any information is much appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!

There are some island range hoods which is attached to ceiling. I never saw a chinese island range hood,most of them are western style. Many of them are very nice,but I am sure they will be very expensive. You have to put in new pipes in the ceiling and open new vent on the wall. This means opening up the ceiling , redo drywall and paint. Not cheap for sure.
