I have three Alcatel Speed Touch Home DSL modems, the best modem for ADSL ever!
Well used products. It is working with 3web, Bell Sympatico, and any DSL provider in Canada, USA.

The modem is the BEST ADSL modem ever made! Why? because it uses the best chips, plus it has a Linux OS inside.
Which means the little modem is in fact a computer with a special Linux installed, so you can hack it, play with it.
Many hackers have converted this modem from Home Model to Pro Model and even the 510 Model. If you don't know what
I am talking about here, then just use it as plug and play modem. It is simple, plug cable, AC adaptor, and phone line,
then you got High Speed Internet.
There was a testing on this model running 2 years without one out of sync, but other modems need to reset once every year.
If you don't know what out of sync is, then just think Alcatel SpeedTouch is the BMW in ADSL modem,
while most of your friends drive Civic.
Even if you don't know how good this modem is, at least be proud of it.
