remove windows xp

I just installed windows xp 2002 sp1 in an older computer, but it cann't start now by any way include safe mode. The window xp disk can not be booted either. I want to completely remove windows xp and reinstall windows 98 and have no way to do it.

Need your help please!

give me your HD,i will do it for you:format your HD use other pc..then put back..then reinstall win98

win 98 is fat 32 file system..
winxp maybe ntfs file system.not that easy to do it..

If you can boot from floppy drive.Go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...8D-5E10-49B5-B80C-0A0205368124&displaylang=en
and make a set of boot disk then ......

window xp startup problem

I downloaded and tried both bootable disk files for windows xp pro sp1 and sp2, but both did not work.

It always went to the same screen showing problems to startup window.

I will still need 50000's help to erase the hard drive.

i said before win98 and winxp, they are not the same file system:win98 is fat32 winxp is ntfs
