yeah, just got a 300G SATA2 two months ago.
thinking of getting another one replace the other 160G.

Had my eye on the AMD dual core processor.

yeah. I might upgrade my 2500+ to AMD dual core, 939 still will be my choice instead of AM2.
I don't see the 165 price drop in that memo, hopefully it can drop as well.
I missed the chance several months ago, now 165's price went back to over 400CND.

Almost pull the trigger on 165 before I left for vacation. I may just go with the PC version of dual core if 165 keep stay in the $400 price range.

Since we are so off topic, let's go a little further: how do you guys store your digital photos ? In my case I just have a DVD backup which I'm a bit concerned about how long it lasts. Putting on hard drive is another level of protection but for now I don't have space.

Film guys needs even more hard drive space -- I know that when I look at the scanned file size from star.

I burn to DVDs.

HD backup taking too much space.

I also worry about the DVD issue fad said. Some of my DVDs won't read on sometimes.

Thanks for the info. Yes, the price there is quite good. Since I have been waiting for so long, let's wait a little longer. But man my computer seems getting slower every day. If I run Raw conversion and open PS at the same time, it basically crawls.
