是否应该和煤气Supplier公司签约

近来总有一些煤气Supplier公司（例如Superior）上门推销。说和煤气价格会长价，说和他们签合同可保持低价不变（例如四年）。请问是否因该和这些公司签约？我们现在的煤气是和Enbridge直接作交易的。价格每一个月不一样。但我们想夏天基本上不会用煤气。用Enbridge的直接billing也是用多少气算多少。现在Supplier公司推销的多了，拿不定主意是否应该用他们的Deal. 请有经验的朋友介绍一下。如签了约，是否每月的价格都一样了（包括夏天不用的时候）？

For example, if current the price of gas itself is 30c/m3, the so-called fixed rate would be 45c/m3. You are betting with them. You would win if the price would increase to 60c/m3 in 50% of the time with next 5 years (because you've paid more when it was lower). Otherwise you loose the gamble. Not mentioned that they reserve the right to change charges for transportation, delivery, storage, manangement etc. any time. I don't think an individul could win the gamble.

Since if the price of the gas is dropping, and let's be honest, if the price of the gas doubles, it's likely the company will just file for bankruptcy.

There is no way they can afford to sell gas below cost for long.

There is no way they can afford to sell gas below cost for long.

they can hedge the risk by buying gas futures. they will never lose money.

i heard the locked rate is 35c now, from direct energy.
