get rid of grass bed

I am planning to get rid of grass in my front yard. I heard there is a tool can relatively easily get rid of the entire grass bed. Does anyone know the name of the tool? It? around 5 sq m of grass bed. I just want to remove it clean. Or does anyone can do this type of job for me? How much you expect? Please QQH.

The easiest way is to spray Roundup. It will kill any grass, weed. After that you wait for sometime according to the bottle label. Then you can replant the land.
I will just use a flat head spade, it is not difficult. You only need to remove the top layer. It is easier to do after the rain
