Finally bought the sensor cleaning kit (the famous Copperhill kit). First trial proved to be successful.

Next run would be more difficult as I need to learn how to wrap the Pec Pad around the wipe tightly ...

I am currently using an eye liner brush with synthetic fiber as a sweep. $2.99 but works for me. And in my lab there is compressed air and there is a no-dust hood.:p

I guess if I have some really sticky dust, then I need to try the wipe. Thanks for the info.
 
Dry cleaning has least chance of damaging the sensor/filter but as you mentioned for some sticky stuffs you still need the wet cleaning.

Yes, everyone has his trick. Agua mentioned once that he used Q tip and some alcohol to do the job. I'm not as brave so I use the commonly accepted method. The message I want to give is that it's not as hard as you thought. The sensor/filter is pretty strong to withstand such cleaning.
