I don`t think you need to bring anything. Maybe send thank-you card after.

Some parents registered the baby shower gift list with ebay or zellers etc. You can pick your gifts to baby there. If they do not have any gift list registered, you can ask them what they need and buy some small gift for baby..such as baby milk bottle..etc. That is all what I know about Canadian baby shower. Of course, if the parents are chinese, they may have different rules. Then you need to ask them.
