I tried to install a new SATA 250G HDD

neither bios or windows detects the drive, does anyone know how to fix this problem?

check power supply
and enable sata in bios?!

power supply works fine, data cable works fine, bios is enable to SATA mode, (not RAID)

I have VIA SATA RAID driver installed, but it doesn't work ... still can't find the drive

I just want to use it as a storage drive ... so much hassle ...
