[问题] special student可以转为full time student吗

紧急求救：因为学校没有收到我的TOEFL成绩不让报道注册，但我还是不想推迟入学，想九月开始上课。朋友说可以先以SPECIAL STUDENT上课，然后再补交材料再转为全日学生，不知道是不是可行？除了只能选两门课外，它跟全日学生还有什么差别嘛？还有别的补救办法吗？不甚感谢。

yes you can, you can be a special student until they recieve your TOEFL score and give you your offer.
but to be a special student, you can only take 2 courses each term at OU. That means you will be a partitme student. If you was a full time student in last two terms, you dont worry about it. if not, you can be a special student at Carleton and take other two courses in Carleton at the same time.This case is only for international students.
