There are also a lot of museums, gymnatices, indoor playgrounds, that are open year round. Just google with the following keywords,

MidWay
Canada Children's museum
Starr Gymnastics
Your local community centre for swimming, skating, gym, etc.

Or stop by your local library to gather a handful of pamphlets on the facilities.
