I need help to rescue my computer! I have an e-machine desktop computer.It works on a windows XP home edition platform. It crashed lately. I tried to start from the recovery disc that came with the machine, but the recovery process did not finish. Everytime, the PC stops at certain point during the recovery. The same thing happened when I used windows XP start up disc or bootable CD. It seems like that the PC can only perform the recovery or reinstallation until a certain point before it crashes. Experts out there have any good advice? Thanks a lot in advance for any thoughts.
