In Canada everybody take his/her credit seriously. Good credit would help you to win respect from others and make your life easy. It is much more valuable than merely $50.

In North American, there isn't 人事档案 in your work unit like in China, but some government institutes and private institutes (like GE Capital) keep everything for everybody in their computer systems. Once you have a bad record there, you never be able to wipe it out. This kind of control is acutally much more efficient and centrilized than that in China. A bad record may make your life 步步艰难 in the future.

风险是一旦出了车祸，保险公司（或Quebec当局）查出你的地址是假的（因为你没在哪住过一天。这很容易证明），他们可以拒绝偿付。而你的车祸造成伤残或死亡，造事者要进监狱。非公民者，可能被遣返。 同时，为你提供地址的人会被视为同谋。谁会为$50为你承担这么大风险(听你的情况，你在安省的保险费可能$５,０００不止)。最好自己不要做法盲了,也别把别人当傻子。
