Got a Speeding Ticket. $300 fine and 4 points.

I am considering to go for a trial. It will be 1st time in my life. Any suggestions and advise? Thank you so very very much for any help!

300 and 4 points, its not that fast.

before you go to trial, you need to know does the police gives you mercy/reduction and also needed to know how much speed you exceed over the posted limit.

If police gives you reduction already, there is be an 'R' written on the ticket. Then it means your actual speed is higher than the police charge you. If you go to court, the judge might charge you the actual speed of the ticket ( which might be higher than 300/4 )

If you speed is only 1-2 over the posted limited AND police does not give you reduction, usually, the 1st time is a good idea to go to trial.

There are service to trial you, 1) Xcoppers 2) Pointts

Tell the judge you absolutely had to go to the washroom and almost peed in your pants. You were trying to get to the next exit to look for a washroom. See what happens.

Well, if its 138, look for Xcoppers or Pointts and they should can reduce the ticket penalty and demerit points. but they charge service charge.
