before read the below news, I thought it doesn't matter to vote a name. Now my wife and I are 100% sure to support BOB, because we do want the LR start to build from South to North instead West to east proposed by Alxe Munter!!! Yes, I live in Barrhaven. I hope all people who live in Barrhaven go to vote, this can make life different!!!
by the way, who is the canadidate represented by BOB at Section 006-2 (new Barrhaven community) or just BOB, please advise.
Thanks and support us

Election a Referendum on O-Train: Munter
Josh Pringle
Thursday, November 9, 2006
Alex Munter insists the future of light rail is at stake in Monday's municipal election.
The Mayoral Candidate told reporters the vote is a referendum on future plans for transit.
Munter says Bob Chiarelli will lose the election and Larry O'Brien has no plan for transportation.
Munter says his plans for Light Rail include trimming the current north-south line from the University of Ottawa to Barrhaven. He plans to use the cost savings to begin building the O-Train east-west.
Larry O'Brien has said he wants to negotiate a six month extension on the current contract for the north-south line to evaluate options.
Mayor Bob Chiarelli has said he will proceed with the current 32 km route.
Chiarelli says Munter is raising expectations impossibly high.. The mayor claims Munter can't do both systems at once.
