去年3月殴打2名在火车上说中文的女游客的女子

中新网 新西兰首都惠灵顿近日发生一起一名亚裔青年教师当街遭殴打侮辱的事件，原因竟是他看上去长得像华人。

　　据新西兰Skykiwi网站消息，Kenneth Young是一名新西兰出生的亚裔第二代，在当地受教育工作。2日晚他却因长得像华人而被人攻击和侮辱。

　　他本人觉得，这些新西兰人根本没有理由对他进行人身攻击。他只是在晚上走在Tory St的马路上，突然就有8名白人冲过来攻击他。其中7男1女，而且其中一人对着他的眼眶连击了多拳造成他的眼眶严重受伤。

　　Kenneth Young在受到殴打后立即去最近的警局报案，警方在数分钟后将这伙人逮捕带进了警局。他们将面对严重伤人等罪名起诉。可是受害者觉得这已经改变了他对这个国家的看法。

　　据悉，该事件并非是针对华人种族歧视案件的单独个案。去年7月，在Nelson一名白人因为向一名新西兰华裔高中女生泼酒和扔垃圾被判2年监禁。去年3月，一人因为攻击2名在火车上说中文的女游客而坐牢。最近的在杂志上对华裔移民的攻击更是可见一斑。

　　现在有将近40万的亚洲移民居住在新西兰，这是相当重要的社会组成部分。所以华裔女议员黄徐毓芳就表示，作为华人很希望大家在受到侮辱和歧视的时候应该站出来发出自己的声音。

I was in Wellington and Auckland Newzealand a few weeks ago, I can't say I'm proud of some of the things Chinese are involved there.

Things like prostitution and strip dancing.

The percentage of Chinese involved in prostitution is huge and the only strip bar in Welington called mermaind, I think it's owned by Chinese.

What kind image are the Chinese in Newzealand setting? respect need to be earned.

I do find Chinese in Canada are much more respected than Chinese in New zealand, or Australia.

Some thing that's been bother me for a long time is last time I visited London England, I opened the local Chinese news paper, I saw full 2 pages of ad for massage plar(about 30+ ads) and half of a page to declare missing passport.

When one Chinese involve themself in shedy business, it set a image for all Chinese. So be good for everybody's sake.

是啊，一些华人工作是被人看不起。

但是按照hello123逻辑，好象是这些华人就应该被看不起，就应该没有人格尊严保障，并且由此全部华人就应该在街头挨打。

我希望hello123在此贴文只是指出华人应该自强，而没有任何歧视成分想法。

respect need to be earned, if you want others to respect chinese, you need to earn that respect start from yourself.

are you the kid who spent your parents money to study here. did you spent over 4 years here and still can't pass your second year, are you going back to china with a fake degree like the rest of the losers.
