今天太倒霉了,在回家的路上因为没看见SCHOOL BUS停在前面所以就开过去了,等我到家的时候一辆车突然开到我面前说我刚开超了停在路边开了停牌的SCHOOL BUS,我当时因为没看见所以我自己都觉得莫名其妙,后来一回想觉得是有那么回事,那个老外就说他已经把我车牌记到纸上了说要告我,我当时以为他想要点钱敲我一笔,后来一看他车开的是一辆porsche凯雁,我想也不可能了,后来我对那老头解释了半天他都不采我,还说要告我.请问各位大虾谁知道如果他真的告我的话我将会怎么样?驾照会不会被调消?小弟刚开车没多久就遇到这事,哎,真算倒霉,也算是一个教训吧.在线等待各位的回答.

要是你家小孩在这种情况下受到伤害，你大概感谢这老头还来不及呢。
楼主吃一堑长一智。这种情况会被扣7分（总共你有12分，请读读交规），外加$$$。在加拿大这个社会，人们心里上认为，对孩子的伤害几乎是十恶不赦的。这就是为什么这会扣分最高。个人认为，除了诚恳以求得可能的轻罚外，别无它法。

I don't think you should be worried unless there were witnesses (bus driver, pedestrians, etc) that the Porsche driver could identify at the court, or unless he took a video recording or a snapshot at the time of incident.
What was done was done, no evidence, no proof, why would the judge trust him? It's like you witness someone passing a red light, you take down the plate number and report to the police, would they charge the driver? I don't think so...
Just my 2 cents, I am not trying to play evil here, but I think in Canada, everything needs evidence, proof.

He can not sue you.There is no harm to him. Only thing he can do is calling the police. If he call the police. You just say you did not see the school bus. This is the truth. You should not talk to that old man, this only get things worse. If these is only one witness. It become he said you said situation. Unless he is a police himself. Why should police believe him. Even police believe him give you a ticket. You can still have your day in court. His is a weak witness and he has to go to court. Your laywer also can check his records his whole history to prove his is not a good man. Most people don't like this.
I said that again, he can not sue you. Only thing he can do is calling the police to report you. If police come. You should not lie . You just you did not see the bus and don't know why the old man said that. Say less is better than say more.

It is easy for the old man to find a witness, such as the bus driver. In this case, your cost would be higher for denying the truth.
