问一个关于劳工法的问题，老公几个月前找到一份permanent job，但在两个多月时，即没过试用期，被裁，老板没给付 holiday pay，想知道老板这样做对吗。哪里可以查到相关法律依据。谢谢帮忙，很郁闷

没过试用期，就不好办。不过，paycheck 应该到他工作的最后一周。我一个同事也是这样。

my understanding is if your job is called permanent then you should get severance pay if got laid off.

but more and more places call those jobs as continuing or indeterminate, which sounds more reasonable
